The credit card issuer Capital One has announced a data breach impacting 1 million clients.
The message is rather interesting, well crafted. Whilst no credit card information was compromised PII was stolen which included bank account information and social security numbers. The report came out after the hacker was arrested.
Given recent trends, I wonder who will be the first to come out with a fine and for how much?
