The effect of the MOVEit hack on the U.S keeps getting bigger. As the Transportation agencies in Oregon and Louisiana warn residents that their data are at risk following a cyberattack on Thursday 15th June.
One suspects that more Federal and State agencies will declare breaches over the coming days as about 12 agencies have active contracts with MOVEit. The concern should not be about the data breaches, the concern should be more about what could happens if attackers can steal data, move laterally across networks, they can also damage systems. Cyber is no loner a FUD debate.
Supply chain hacks are increasing in frequency and certainly demonstrating the complexity they cause.
