The EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) became law in late 2024. Requiring the manufacturers and distributors of internet enabled digitial products and services to implement cybersecurity risk management. If they wish to sell or distribute products and services across the 27 EU member states.
The CRA places a ring fence around the EU and requires companies inside and out of the EU to comply, or risk fines and market restrictions.
Cybersecurity regulation across the EU is developing rapidly along side regulation that enforces resilience of critical services.
