The recent U.S midterms changed the political balance of power, that is starting to work its way through the political machine in Congress. Andrew Garbarino the New York Republican is to chair the House of Representative cybersecurity subcommittee.
Cybersecurity is one of the few issues that gets bipartisan support, and an issue that is being addressed through the ONCD National Cybersecurity strategy that is due for release and other Federal agencies such as the SEC.
The Congressman will chair the committee that overseas DHS and the work carried out by CISA, amongst other agencies.
