The SEC has released further ESG proposals, (362 pages) that if adopted would establish disclosure requirements for funds and advisers that market themselves as having an ESG focus.

1. Require funds that say they consider ESG factors to provide investors with information in the prospectus about what ESG factors they consider, along with the strategies they use.

2. ESG-focused funds, as defined in the proposal would need to disclose details about the criteria and data they use to achieve their investment goals, and specific information about their strategies.

(Definition: Funds that focus on one or more ESG factor and using them as a significant or main consideration (1) in selecting investments or (2) in its engagement strategy with the companies in which it invests)

3. Require particular types of ESG-focused funds to disclose relevant metrics.

While environmental factors and climate change are obvious components under the E, of ESG. I wonder how the Governance will be addressed, especially when we discuss cybersecuirty.
