The tide it is changing……….. and one is not referring to the orbit of the moon around the earth. It’s the tide of AI.
AI is positioned to change allot for the public and private sector. The simple truth is AI has captured most internet available information into the genies bottle. The challenge ahead is how will those equipped to use this information benefit the most. What happens to those that do not? Will they be left sitting at the wayside?
What was once the ‘secret sauce’ of information, held dear by companies, is readily available to those that want to use it. With this come the ability for companies to access global data and create unique, game changing solutions. For organisations to take those menial, high volume, low value trades and automate them. For organisations to make strides in improving productivity and efficiency, with at least the same level of quality at lower risk this week, than they did last week. As organisations benefit from the use of AI in days, rather than suffer development life cycles of months.

As Dan points out, The winners in this new landscape won’t be the builders with the best products. They’ll be the ones with the best pedigrees. Those that can demonstrate the overlap between AI and have the experience to deliver solutions that solve real world problems, repeatably. It will be those that not only drain the moat of water water, but ensure what is left is protected.
It is a reason why we are assembling a team of global audit leaders, chief audit officers, audit regulators, technology leaders and academics, to propel Aegis Labs. Initially we will drain the cyber audit moat, through the delivery of domain specific AI; we will secure the audit moat; we will enable internal and external auditors assure cybersecurity risk management compliance; improve audit efficiency, quality and risk management.
What was once the preview of knowledge industry experts, now resides in domain specific AI. Domain specific AI captures the knowledge that Gen-AI has not. It uses it to resolve domain specific problems, such as cyber audit.
