The U.S is moving closer to a Federal Data protection and privacy law.
A bill, called the American Privacy Rights Act, or APRA could be introduced thia month. It would allow Americans to opt out of targeted advertising, minimize the personal data that companies hold on them and give citizens access to their data, to correct or delete it, and to obtain their data so they may transfer it to another service provider.
