The U.S Transportation Security Administration(TSA) is a department of the Department of Homeland Security(DHS). The TSA is responsible for the security of U.S Transportation networks, and has issued its latest intent and strategic goals for security, including cybersecurity. Aligning is strategic mission with its own 2018 – 2026 strategy (https://lnkd.in/eCaN2EZK) that of the ONCD National Cyber strategy, focusing on cybersecurity to protect national passenger, freight and pipeline services.
The DHS recently confirmed the need to improve cybersecurity in line with FISMA and OMB, adopting an approach for the security of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
