The UK Government and Ministry of Defence has published its 2025 Strategic defence review. It makes for an interesting read, especially the references to ‘industry’ and ‘cybersecurity and the Electro Magnetic Domain’, section 7.6.
Positive to see that the MoD will adopt a ‘3 Line of Defence Model for Risk management’. One looks forward to the adoption of a Whole of Society approach for security and the development of cyber security strategy across the UKs defence supply chains and the security of UK CNI.
The development of appropriate cyber and AI related education programs to train our next generation of military professionals is a key requirement, if the UK is going to build an effective defence between the public and private sector. A public sector that includes our armed forces.
