The US Air Force has grounded its fleet F-35 Joint Strike Fighters over an ejector seat issue and 300 training aircraft were temporarily grounded recently because of ejection seat safety fears. Other services, including the Navy and Marines Corps, have also halted flights of some fixed-wing aircraft.

The UK recently grounded its Typhoon jets and red arrows over an ejector seat issue.
