The world of logical and physical cyber and crime cross paths at many points.
Cybercrime is big business, much like people trafficking for slavery, prostitution and drugs.
‘A woman from Mumbai’s Chembur, is accused of trafficking job seekers to Cambodia, where they were forced into cybercriminal activities under dire conditions, according to the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB).’
Criminal gangs traffic people to build capacity for cybercrime. An activity that will continue to get worst.
If we improve our awareness of digital, social media and what and how we share and secure data. We may be able to do something to reduce the expected $X trillion cost cybercrime, that in part is being funded by people trafficking.
