There are around 5.7 million SMEs (under 250 employees) in the UK, employing around 6 Million people generating around £1.9 Trillion annually, 50% of UK private sector turnover.

Whilst it would be a leap of faith to say that they will all be hacked and the economy will suffer. It is fair to say that at a $200,000 cyber cost would be a significant issue for most SMEs, a cost that many would probably find hard to absorb.

But we all know that basic cyber hygiene can prevent at least 60% of cyber related issues, before focusing on software solutions. Start with cyber essentials and work the way up.(https://lnkd.in/eZK4-3R)
