There goes another $286 million in crypto gone as North Korean hackers appear to have used the admin’s private keys to gain privileged access to the Drift Protocol, the largest decentralised futures exchange on the Solana blockchain.

Suspicion falls on North Korea hackers, who are using the fund to build their weapons programs. Taking the total amount of stolen crypto to over $6.5 billion in recent years.

Unfortunately, when security goes wrong for Crypto, it’s shown time again to go wrong in a big way.
