There’s something going seriously wrong. It’s not just targeted against KnowBe4. One calls it ‘cyber balloon syndrome’. Cyber is just like a half filled balloon, you squeeze it and it just adapts and appears somewhere else.
In this case taking advantage of home working, a skills gap and solutions put in place to manage both. Fortunately for KnowBe4, they were able to manage the threat. But it demonstrates the lengths threat actors go to infiltrate organisations.
