This is a very informative report issued by the New York State Office of the Comptroller (the financial controller of the state). That is a good read for any public or private sector organisation looking at the cyber challenges they may face with Critical National Infrastructure.

Cybersecurity is undoubtedly a difficult risk to management for both the public and private sector. In some respects more so for the public sector, given the funding constraints placed on public sector organizations and the need to provide many other social services.

The cybersecurity of CNI for the public sector is critical for social security and national security. CNI requires funding, resources and critical attention.
