Today the UK Government released its foundation for Growth for the UK Defence industry and the creation of Jobs, through the Defense Industry Strategy.https://lnkd.in/eqpVd3ZnThe defence industry is critical to the UK in terms of national security and economic security and as other nation states are finding the defence industry is important at the convergence of both.When one reads the strategy there are a few observations1. Our partner nations are focused on the security of defence IP, as a driver for national security, differentiation and to generate sales.2. Cybersecurity is a growing domain of operation. As the Ukraine war has demonstrated it forms an increasing part of the hybrid tools for national security, defense procurement security and maintaining competitive advantage.3.
