With cloud and auto configuration being so closely linked, should we be concerned about the effect of data breach’s and cyber attacks on automotives? Cars are an integral part of the lives of many people, and along with electrification, developing rapidly into a digital product, moving from the oil and gas grease machines we have lived with for over 100 years. But with this transition, is the automotive sector and its supply chain keeping abreast of the digital revolution, or is this just a blip?

One wonders the effect on Toyota when EU and U.S cyber regulations come into force?
