We are living in difficult times, the Corona-virus epidemic has been likened to the worst economic crisis since the 1930s depression. As our economies contract it is putting many companies under financial stress and for some they may not come out of the crisis in an operational state. Making them vulnerable to take over.

As this article points out, with a potential risk to our security. Whilst COVID 19 continues, a decision to sell a UK company, initially headquartered in the US to a Chinese investment house. Has come back around, amid a board room crisis, as the investor moved to nominate four new directors to the board. The CEO and CTO resigning in the past week, citing concerns over ownership and UK MP’s raising security concerns. The EU has also raised concerns over the potential for hostile takeovers during the current crisis. (https://lnkd.in/eYJuZPk)
