We have discussed the concept and principles of ‘Left of Bang’ the U.S Marine Core combat hunter program, and its role in helping Marines develop ‘Situational Awareness’ in combat. Apply this to cybersecuirty risk management and regulatory compliance. (https://lnkd.in/eT3qqnYa)

Cyber regulation from the EU and U.S drives board situational awareness, for the management of cybersecurity risk. Regulation that requires board directors and officers to oversight, assure and attest cybersecurity risk management; protecting shareholders and corporate value.

€œAs a battle develops we don€„¢t deploy reserves to areas where we experience the most resistance. We deploy them to the areas where we€„¢re experiencing the most success.€

The case could be said for cyber resources. The challenge for boards is regulatory compliance removes choice’s of where to allocate resources.
