Teams working for those companies create the products and services they use and sell. But we cannot place the responsibility of cyber security into them.

Cyber has to be led from the top, leaders have to take responsibility for the security of the products and services their teams create.

Cyber professionals have to get better at engaging the board and educating leaders on the risks. If boards are to protect the corporate brand, the balance sheet and shareholder value.
