We’ve seen a significant rise in cyber attacks across the U.S, EU and Australia over the past 6 months targeting Critical national Infrastructure Providers. Publicised attacks that have affected water supply, power, logistics and transportation, financial services, medical and healthcare, technology and infrastructure. In fact every CNI category. For a government to come out an make the point you know its serious.

The frequency, complexity and severity of impact of cyber has risen dramatically over the past 12 month. Driven in part to changes in national security strategy in countries like the U.S. and the EU Restricting countries like China access to U.S IP, heightened tensions between the U.S and China, and the war in Ukraine.

Geopolitical tensions and the use of cyber as a strategic weapon make CNI obvious targets to be tested for obvious reasons.
