What happens when you bugger around with OT and industrial processes; demonstrated back in 2022 when it was reported that Predatory Sparrow (you gotta love the name) hacked a steel mill in Iran. Causing it to malfunction and pour molten steel over the floor and caused a major fire.
Many years ago I designed control systems for furnaces, boiler claves and robots. This stuff can be dangerous, operating at pressures, temperatures and with movement that’s designed to make the stuff we want and not care about what gets in its way.
If the manufacturing processes go wrong, they can go wrong big time in this case steel melts at 1,400’C.
