While one always questions statistics when evaluating cybersecurity and the market, even if a third of cybersecurity breaches are going undetected, (one suspects its much higher as 99% of organisation are SMEs, that invariable cannot afford to do cyber), then one should be concerned about detection and incident response Ted Dziekanowski. With numerous reports of cyber attackers being inside big and small organizations for 6 months or more (see google), ferreting around undetected and raising questions over detection and incident response.

One hears little about cloud, the responsibility of cloud vendors and their customers to manage security and the role of the share responsibility model. The shared responsibility model is critical for cloud, on prem and hybrid security and an important component of cyber regulatory compliance, if one is to demonstrate cybersecurity risk management of native, on prem or hybrid cloud. Yet zero trust seems to be the model that will solve all.
