One wonders what happens as CMMC starts to bite into the Global DIB. Small contractors are reporting that they are finding it difficult to absorb compliance costs. That will force a risk transfer conversation with the DIB and United States Department of War and for those that can and do comply, it makes cyber compliance a competitive differentiator.
