A rather expensive hack by Israeli defense firm NSO against WhatsApp, as a US court awards those affected $167.3 million in punitive damages and $444,719 in compensatory damages. The case is one that caught allot attention in 2016 when NSO was at the centre of hacking claims by individuals who had their personal communications intercepted by NSO systems.
