AI may not be the best lawyer to use when defending yourself in court, as a Canadian found out when using AI to defend himself in a case related to the brokerage of 3 helicopters and an aeroplane.
The defendant used AI in his defence rather than a lawyer. He cited several pieces of evidence to the court that were fabricated or non-existent, incomplete, or inconsistent. The result of which led to a further fine by the court.
