Cybersecurity is the audit committees top priority in 2025, followed by ERM, Finance and Internal Audit Talent and compliance with laws and regulations.The reports highlights interesting tends that may cause concern for organisations regulated by cybersecurity. 62% of those audited state that the audit committee provide primary oversight of cybersecurity risk and reviewing cyber risk quarterly. In 52% of cases audit has primary oversight of enterprise risk management and an overwhelming 82% agreed that there was an opportunity to extract more value from internal audit.
