Are Europe and NATO heading for a cyber compliance tsunami? With the amount of US defense hardware heading into Europe, what will be the impact on the European Defense Industry and compliance to US DoD DFARS and CMMC regulations for the protection of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)? US DIB supply chains are long and F35’s and Abrams tanks purchased by EU countries and NATO allies being manufactured in Europe and will require maintenance and support, bringing them under DFARS and CMMC. At a time when US comparable cyber standards are not in place in Europe to manage defensive cyber across EU and UK industry.

This is in addition to the SECs proposals for Cybersecurity Risk management, Strategy, Governance and Incident Disclosure, that impacts Foreign Issuers on US Capital Markets.
