Complexity is the killer of cyber security. But is the security community coming to terms that cyber security is all about managing cyber risks. Like all issues companies face, understanding the risk is critical to decision making. Cyber risk management is a paradigm shift which is used to identify the issues, before we implement the solutions.
The next complexity for cyber will be how you bring the multitude of solutions that exist across the cyber domains together. Into a system so that the risks can be managed effectively. The challenge will be how to align domain reporting with risk reporting and risk management to effect board change.
