But it is a hugely important mechanism to support harmonisation, transparency, and collaboration across member states that are part of the Common Criteria network. Common Criteria provides a framework that helps vendors, evaluators, and customers describe and assess the security functionality and assurance of IT products in a consistent, comparable way between nation states, between security vendors, and for customers.
