Call us now:
I cannot think of any manufacturing company which does not rely upon Operations Technology from loaves of bread, headache tablets, cars to tins of beans and soft drinks. Or the interface between these systems and business systems for supply chain management, sales and serving. I’ve reported a few times on the importance and impact of cyber on JIT and our dependence on inter-modal transport systems for non-bulk goods.
Global supply chains all rely on the technology layer between physical production and digital technology to produce all the goods and services we rely on today.
If the people at the bottom of the supply chain get it wrong (NotPetya was a good demonstration of this) then the consumer at the top has a problem.
