I have enclosed a copy of the presentation I gave at 2 events on Operational Resilience over the past week. At Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Price Waterhouse Cooper in the City of London.

Operational resilience and cyber are high on the UK finance regulatory agenda. With the imminent release of a consultation paper (CP), following on from the discussion paper (DP) released by the bank of England in July 2018 (https://lnkd.in/eHsnG5T).

Operational resilience is a complex subject for Financial Institutions, internally, between Institutions, between institutions and their third parties and across financial infrastructure. A failure of which can have a major impact on customers and across society; due to the interconnected nature of the sector, globally.

Cyber is a key driver for operational resilience, the UK regulator mentions cyber 30 times in the DP which to me is a clear indication that they take cyber seriously. So keep an eye out for the release of the Consultation Paper from the Bank of England and PRA.
