The US has reviewed its approach to allowing suppliers provide services to its telecoms sector. In line with securing its telecoms networks from national security threats.
The original move was seen as a response to Huawei’s participation in providing 5G in the US and its suspected links to Chinese nation state actors.
The response is now to assess solution providers on a case by case.
