I started my career as an engineer at Rolls Royce. I had the pleasure of working at Rolls Royce Hucknall in Nottinghamshire, where ‘Britain’s first vertical take off machine’ the Flying Bedstead was designed and tested. Incidentally the same airfield where a German fighter pilot tried to steal a Hurricane during WWII.(https://lnkd.in/e5-q2gp4)
