If you are going to read anything this week read Singapore’s 2021 cyber strategy published on the 05.10.21. It’s a clear, concise and informative read, forming Singapore’s approach to cybersecurity over the coming years.
It is based upon the 3 pillars of Enabling a safer cyberspace, Building resilient infrastructure and Enhancing international cyber cooperation. Underpinned by a vibrant cybersecurity ecosystem and talent pipeline. The strategy brings together Government, industry and society to create a joined up approach to cybersecurity and protection.
The strategy advocates states work together to implement cyber norms and standards to raise the global baseline level of cyber security. In line with the recent Quad leaders summit between the US, Japan, Indian and Australia which seeks to work with ASEAN countries to strengthen cyber security.
