Maybe a little more than Tipsters, but an important contributor to the oversight and assurance of Americas companies. One wonders why the EU is reluctant to follow a similar path.

It demonstrates that not all Whistleblower complaints came from employees of the firms that are fined and whistleblowers (tipsters) are filling more ‘tips’ than regulators can deal with. With concerns being raised that a disproportionate number of successful claims, where whistleblowers used lawyers, have been awarded to law firms that hired former SEC regulators.
