MGM hotels and resorts has reported a significant data breach. PII of around 10Million clients was exposed on a hacking forum.
If the statement is true that they identified exposed data on a cloud server last summer. This will raise plenty of questions. Least of all, what was done about it and communicating with customers in a timely manner.
I wonder how this will play out with CCPA?
