Oh dear, the AI paradox is more nuanced than trying to govern what employees currently use.
The really, really big elephant in the room is leaders are being regulated to govern a horse that’s already left the stable, it is 20 fields away and as Clawdbot has demonstrated, creating ‘Skynet’, uncontrolled (I gest, sort of).
There’s no way AI is ever getting back in the stable and leaders now have to work out how the will govern a risk they largely ignored, and is now being regulated.
We’ve witnessed ClawdBot bugger up the security model over the past week. As users ignored basic security principles, over a FOMO.
AI needs regulation to prevent its uncontrolled deployment at scale.
