Looks to be moving ahead with cyber incident reporting for Critical national Infrastructure(CNI) companies. In line with requirements for the Federal oversight of cybersecurity incidents.

A requirement that while there is friction between some member of Congress and the Securities and Exchange Commission. Is necessary to inform users of CNI that their systems may have been compromised and could be at risk of service interruption in the event of a cyber attack.

One is interested to see what time line the CISA adopts for incident reporting, as the SEC requires registrants 4 days to report a cyber incident from the moment they deem the incident o be material.
