Thank you, Brian D. McCarthy. There are some obvious questions ahead for the use of AI and the ATO process for the DoD. Give General AIs challenges with Hallucinations. How do you guarantee its output? How do you control and manage AI security? AI is very effective at processing large pools of data. Defence projects, in comparison, are small sources of data. It’s difficult to mix data sets for reasons of security.

AI lends itself to the evaluation of cybersecurity compliance, such as DFARS and NIST SP 800-171 compliance, which is a topical conversation today.

All questions the DoD will be working on.
