Thank you for posting Brian D. McCarthy, this is an important document for Critical National Infrastructure providers in the U.S. The definition of CNI is very clear. The order addresses the need to ensure that cybersecurity risk management is an integral part of the investment that the U.S is putting into CNI and to ensure the protection of national security.

The EO aligns with the 2023 ONCD cyber strategy in requiring the implementation of minimum requirements for risk management, and robust accountability and enforcement mechanisms that evolve in line with risk.
