ICT risk is a broad catagory of risk. However security tools fall under the scope of DORA and MSPs under NIS2.
Working with my U.S legal colleagues, compliance to the SEC final cyber rule, NIS2 and DORA is being scrutinised closely. Boards have a ethical and fiducuary responsibility to mange risk. Responsibility that has been clarified by cyber regulation.
One can expect lawyers to take an active view on board governance, regulatory compliance and fiducuary responsibility going forward.
ICT risk and cyber risk are clearly national security risks. Demonstrated by Fridays events.
