Thank you Rachel V. Rose, JD, MBA. With the U.S and EU both moving forward with proposals requiring the manufacturers of ICT products and services to validate their cybersecurity, before they can be sold or distributed in their respective jurisdictions. One wonders to what standard manufacturers will be judge to have complied.

The FDA will require medical devices to comply with cybersecurity from October 2023. The EU is working on the Cyber Resilience Act. and the Whitehouse and FCC are moving forward with device labeling.

All we need now is to understand what cybersecurity risk management means, what a cybersecurity compliance program looks like and a standard that could be worked to by device manufactures.

Ted Dziekanowski one wonders if there a CSF profile in here somewhere.
