The challenges we face with both Russia and China are an ‘epoch Defining Challenge’….’ One expert warned Chinese hackers would wreak havoc in a crisis or conflict.’
What we are yet to hear about are the solutions to address this ‘epoch Defining Challenge’ and threat to our national, economic and societal security.
By example the U.S Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines made clear to Congress recently, that China is playing a long game and pre-positioning cyber capabilities to damage CNI.
Cybersecurity is the national security issue of our time, one that effects every member of society. One only has to look at the void between the messages communicated by the U.S the EU, and the UK. To understand we are struggling to come up with answers to address the existential threat posed by cyber alone.
