The cyber industry has and is laying off as we move through the cost of living crisis. I understand the economics, but with the volume of cyber regulation coming down the line, the shortage of skilled and experienced cyber resources, the increase in number of organisations that will be impacted by regulation.
Regulation that requires security vendors themselves to certify their own cyber compliance. We will create a bottleneck further down the line.
