Comcast was affected by this data breach, that is suspected to have been a ransomware attack.

The effect of third party supplier hacks, can be as equally broad and deep on your business as it is on the companies that are hacked. Contracting services out to third parties comes with risks that the assignor is likely responsible for. That the assignor should consider through the contracting process. A process that will likely mature as data breaches up and down supply chains becomes more clear.
