The pace at which CMMC is moving out across the DoW and its branches is increasing. We are starting to see DoW branches require CMMC requirements in specific solicitations, notices affirming that CMMC will be added into solicitations, and, as the enclosed demonstrates, blanket notices that all solicitations will include CMMC requirements.

While domestic DoW suppliers have been grappling with CMMC for several years, the international DIB has been more subdued in its approach to CMMC compliance. CMMC has often been viewed as a FUD issue and one buried deep down in the ‘to-do list’.
One hopes this does not turn into a contracting issue for DIB contractors outside of the US.
