The Property sector looks to be the target of choice today for hackers. With last weeks attack on CTS affecting property completions in the UK, the attack on Fidelity National Financial in the U.S (https://lnkd.in/esMvC3kG), and the hack against EDC in Norway https://lnkd.in/e6dZiNZD highlighting the challenges the property sector face with cyber.
Compounded in the supply chain is the effect of cyber on law firms, with the recent attack on Allen and Overy, and attacks on HWL Ebsworth and DLA piper to name a few.
Cyber attacks on the legal profession and associated industries are on the rise. They are often an easy target as cyber maturity often lags behind other sectors. One suspects we will see more cyber events ahead as hacker pivot to less well protected and lucrative targets.
