The situation at JLR is intensifying, and the options open to its staff and those of its suppliers are at present limited. With reports that employees should seek to claim unemployment benefits while their companies are not able to pay wages.

The JLR cyberattack continues to cause disruption, with the company still working to resolve the incident and a date when it can restart operations.
