The U.S Executive office is setting out its plans for cybersecurity funding from FY 2025. Consistent with the ONCD National Cyber strategy, Federal agencies cyber budgets will be assessed by OMB in line with the 5 pillars of defending critical infrastructure, disrupting and dismantling threat actors, shaping market forces to drive security and resilience, investing in a resilient future, and forging international partnerships focusing on shared goals.
A boss once said to me. if you want to make change you either own the budget, or you own the regulation. OMB own both with ONCD for U.S cyber.
